Position Overview: We are seeking hardworking and reliable Crew Members to join our construction and renovation team. This is an entry-level hourly role, perfect for someone with general construction knowledge who wants to grow their skills under the guidance of experienced professionals. As a Crew Member, you’ll work directly with the Lead Carpenter and other team members to execute high-quality renovations, ensuring projects are completed efficiently and safely.
Key Responsibilities:
Assist with general construction tasks, including framing, demolition, material handling, and site cleanup.
Support skilled tradespeople with carpentry, drywall, painting, flooring, masonry, and other finishing work.
Follow project plans and instructions from the Lead Carpenter to ensure work is completed accurately and on time.
Maintain a clean, safe, and organized worksite, adhering to all company safety standards.
Load and unload tools, materials, and equipment as needed.
Learn and develop new construction skills through hands-on experience and mentorship.
Communicate effectively with team members to ensure smooth workflow and project success.
Qualifications:
General construction knowledge and experience using basic hand and power tools.
A strong work ethic, very positive attitude, and willingness to learn.
Ability to take direction and work well as part of a team.
Basic understanding of safety protocols on a construction site.
Must have and maintain a personal set of basic hand tools (e.g., measuring tape, hammer, utility knife, screwdrivers, etc.). Larger tools and specialized equipment will be provided.
Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation required.
Ability to lift 50+ lbs and perform physically demanding tasks in various weather conditions.
Drug-Free: Strict adherence to a drug and alcohol-free work environment - no exceptions - if you can’t adhere to this policy, this is not the job for you.
Language: Fluency in English is required.
